Therapy for Doctors
Support for doctors, their partners, and families navigating burnout, stress, and the demands of a medical career.
If you’re a physician looking for therapy, you may already feel the weight of constant responsibility—long hours, emotional exhaustion, and the pressure to always perform at a high level.
I provide therapy to physicians, and medical professionals across California, as well as their partners and families who are also impacted by the demands of a medical career.
Therapy for Physicians in California
What I help with…
Physician Burnout and Chronic Stress
The pressure to perform, long shifts, and emotional intensity can lead to burnout that doesn’t go away with a weekend off.
Relationship Strain
You may feel distant from your partner, more irritable at home, or unsure how to stay connected when your energy is already depleted. I offer couples therapy for physicians and their partners to help rebuild communication and connection.
Family and Parenting Challenges
Balancing the demands of medicine with family life can feel nearly impossible at times. I also work with physicians’ spouses and families to help navigate these challenges together.
Loss of Meaning & Career Transition
At some point, many physicians find themselves wondering if the life they worked so hard for still feels aligned with who they are.
A Different Kind of Understanding
In addition to my clinical work, I bring firsthand experience to this space.
I’m married to a physician, and I went through medical school and residency alongside my spouse (and 3 kids!). I understand not just the professional demands of medicine—but how those demands impact relationships, family life, and your sense of self outside of work.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent several years in advertising working with Fortune 500 brands. That experience helps me understand the intensity, expectations, and constant demands that come with high-stakes careers like medicine.
