navigating tech use for teens

Raising kids in today’s digital world can feel overwhelming, and many parents aren’t sure where to start.

These no-cost 45-minute presentations are designed to offer guidance that is practical, approachable, and informed by the latest peer reviewed research findings.

We’ll talk about how technology is shaping young people’s lives, and how you can set boundaries that feel realistic—not rigid. You’ll learn ways to support mental health, build confidence, and what to do when challenges come up at home.

Presentations are given to middle and high schools. They are also given for public libraries and non-profit organizations. If you think your org may benefit, contact me about scheduling. Presentations happen live via zoom across California.

reinvent “screen-time” —change the game

From birth til adulthood people people are now growing up around screens. This presentation explores the impact of screen use on babies and children, offering radical ideas on how to transform your child’s relationship to screens — reinventing the rhythms of your household. Recommendations are supported by current peer-reviewed research findings.

We help families break the cycle of screen dependence—especially for kids who struggle with limits.

Presentations are 45-minutes, no-cost, and offered to non-profit orgs, libraries, and community centers. Happening live, via zoom to those in California. Please reach out if interested in scheduling.
